1-minute glimpse into the preparation work conducted for the collaborative 2016 research cruise between NOAA, Saildrone, Inc. and the University of Washington. This mission is using two saildrones equipped with instruments for studying climate change, Walleye pollock fish, endangered North Pacific right whales and Northern fur seals in the Bering Sea. The saildrones launched June 6, 2016 from Dutch Harbor, AK and are sailing the Bering Sea through early September.
